Mission

Turning Everyday Places
into Significant Spaces

We transform everyday spaces into sacred places—creating hubs of hope, faith, and belonging for the next generation. Through radical generosity and strategic investment, we empower community organizations and the youth they serve with the resources they need to thrive.

We envision a future where communities across the country are dotted with vibrant spaces—once ordinary properties, now alive with community, mentorship, and connection. These “third spaces” will stand as living testimonies of God’s provision and generosity, shaping lives for generations to come.

How we started

Work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you. Jeremiah 29:7
A handshake

In October 2022, a group of caring adults gathered in South Jersey with a shared passion: to make a lasting impact on adolescents in their community. Familiar with the faithful work of Young Life since the 1970s, and united by their love for God and people, they came together for prayer and strategic planning. As ideas filled the whiteboard that morning, one vision stood out clearly: to create a perpetual giving stream that would outlast them while providing a safe, welcoming space for kids.

That vision, voiced by Rob Fogel, sparked excitement and faith. What if businesses could surround and support a ministry already reaching young people? What if generosity could be structured in such a way that it sustained ministry for generations? As more people caught the vision, the dream took root. After much prayer and searching, it became clear that the "Greentree Rd" Property would be the place where this vision came to life.

Since then, Marketplace Mission Group has continued to refine its mission: to invest in families and kids through spaces that provide belonging and fuel proven youth ministries. Guided by Jeremiah 29:7, we believe God has called us to work for "the peace and prosperity of our community". By transforming ordinary properties into sacred places, we are leaving a legacy that will impact generations to come.

Our model

We are a "Business As Missions" nonprofit —raising funds upfront to buy and repurpose properties into sacred spaces.

Owning these spaces outright keeps operating costs low and allows us to reinvest revenue into youth organizations for years to come.

Raise & Steward Funds

We prayerfully raise every dollar needed before purchasing, ensuring each project starts debt-free. Every gift is handled with transparency and used exactly as intended—building trust and maximizing impact.
